Manitowoc Chiefs Academy
Football is the vehicle. We're building work ethic, mental strength, purpose, and perseverance. It starts with understanding the game.
Whether you're a 5th grader stepping onto the field for the first time, a parent who's never watched a down, or a volunteer coach getting ready for practice, these courses get you up to speed. No jargon. No assumptions. Just what you need, explained plainly.
Courses
Who are these courses for?
Players, parents, coaches, cheer families, and officials, anyone connected to Manitowoc Chiefs football. Most courses are built for people with zero football background.
How long does a course take?
Each course is self-paced. Most take 30 to 60 minutes total. You can start, stop, and pick up where you left off.
Do I need to know football already?
No. "New to Football: For Players" and "New to Football: For Parents" start from scratch. If you already know the game, jump straight into the Playbook or Coaching courses.
What does it cost?
Everything is free. The Chiefs are a 100% volunteer nonprofit. We built these courses so every family can learn the game, no barrier to entry.
What's the Playbook Pass?
The full Chiefs playbook broken down, formations, blocking, run concepts, defense, and the pass game. It's also free. Grab it before the season starts.
